GANPaint Studio is a semantic photo manipulation tool that allows you to edit images using high-level concepts of other graphics without having to use any colors or digital pens. It operates with a generative adversarial network (GAN), a system that can learn to generate new data when trained. GANPaint Studio’s own GAN can produce images of a certain category—like buildings, interiors, and such—so it has learned to generate images that would fit such settings. The tool has semantic paintbrushes that can remove or produce specific parts of the images, like the door of a kitchen. This is what you’ll be controlling yourself while GANPaint Studio handles the alteration and generation of the new image. However, because of how it works, the results are always in low resolution and your selection in what can be edited will be limited. It’s pretty cool but not something you’ll like to use heavily.
